2024 Spring class registrations are available

In 2024, we offer programming at different sites throughout the county: Lake Ridge Golf Course (L- main); Forest Greens Golf Course (F); Prince William Golf Course (P); and Bull Run Golf Course (BR). 

Intro to Golf– Will not be offered in 2024. In addition to learning the fundamentals of the game of golf and the gold swing, First Tee teaches young people life skills and character education through the game of golf. (ages 7-17yrs.)

Lil’ Swingers– Will not be offered in the Spring. Specifically designed for the younger golfer. Having fun and becoming comfortable on the golf course and with other is what we do. Consists of an overview of both Life Skills and Golf Skills utilizing First Tee curriculum. (ages 4-6yrs.)

First Tee Golf Club– Golf is one of the most diverse and inclusive sports out there; join in the fun this season. All kids from 7-17 are welcome, regardless of previous experience. Based on your skill level we will: cover the basics of golf, rules and etiquette, solid impact and distance control, course management and on to more advanced golf skills. First Tee also places a premium on core values such as honesty, respect, confidence and judgment. These values help build social skills, deal with peer pressure and how to self-manage through most situations.

Each camp is designed to improve your child’s golf knowledge, skill level, and how to better interact with others. Perfect for all skill levels, it is challenging and full of action. We will cover the basics of golf, rules and etiquette in a fun active, and positive environment.

If your school is not using the First Tee School Program (FTSP), please let us know so that we can reach out to those educators and find a way to bring it your school.

2024 Summer registration tips

Due to the increase in student enrollment, we have increased the class size and also the coaches on staff. Even so, if the class if FULL, place your child on the waitlist so we know how many we will try to move into the class.  To start, Click on the link under "Program Number" to be taken to Prince William County Parks & Recreation registration system.
